Harley Frazis is a labor economist who recently retired from the Bureau of Labor Statistics after 36 years, where he worked on the Current Population Survey, the American Time Use Survey, and other surveys.  His research interests time use and on-the-job training.

He is currently working on a project comparing work from home in the private and public sectors. Frazis holds a Ph. D. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
