Tim Bartik and Michelle Miller-Adams quoted in Christian Science Monitor story on the Kalamazoo Promise

Institute senior economist Tim Bartik and research fellow Michelle Miller-Adams are both quoted in a recent story on the Kalamazoo Promise that appeared December 17 in the Christian Science Monitor. In "Did free college save this city? The Kalamazoo Promise helped revive a Rust Belt town. It holds lessons for other cities," Bartik discusses the findings of research on the educational attainment of Promise recipients and the return-on-investment of money spent funding the Promise, while Miller-Adams discusses community aspects of the Promise.
