In a special panel discussion that aired on April 21 on WMUK, Institute research fellow Michelle Miller-Adams and economist Brad Hershbein discussed what a decade of the Promise has meant for Kalamazoo. Both Miller-Adams and Hershbein have extensively studied and written on the Kalamazoo Promise and other place-based scholarship programs. The panel also included community leaders, educators, and students with ties to the Kalamazoo Promise.
