Institute staff to present research on universal scholarship programs at 2016 AEFP Annual Conference

On Thursday, March 17, Institute economist Brad Hershbein presents a paper on universal college scholarship programs at the 2016 Association for Education Finance and Policy Annual Conference. The paper, "The Merits of Universal Scholarships: Benefit-Cost Evidence from the Kalamazoo Promise" (coauthored by the Institute's Timothy Bartik and Marta Lachowska), will be presented as part of Session 2.07—The Effectiveness of Policies Impacting the Higher Education Pipeline.

In addition, on Friday, March 18, a paper titled "Pre-K in Public Schools: Evidence from Within All States," by Brad Hershbein and Timothy Bartik, will be part of the Poster Session.
