The Upjohn Institute New Separation Quality Index (NHQI) tracks the earnings power of newly separated workers. By matching the former occupations of newly separated workers to occupation-specific wages, the NSQI provides updates each month on the earnings power of workers leaving jobs in the United States, in the aggregate and for different groups based on sex, age, education, and other characteristics. How to Use
- Switch metrics using the tabs at the top.
- Adjust date range with dropdowns or presets.
- Toggle indexing for indexed (2016=100) vs actual values.
- Search groups using the combobox to add series.
- Click chips to pin/unpin series (max 8 pinned).
- Use presets for common comparison groups.
- Hover to see values for pinned series.
- Export as PNG or CSV using the buttons below.
