Nov. 19 Kalamazoo County job fair to feature area’s largest employers

Michigan Works! Southwest will host the Kalamazoo County Job Fair Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Michigan Works! Southwest, 1601 S. Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49001.

The event will bring together some of the area’s largest employers representing a variety of industries, including healthcare, hospitality, and education. A wide range of positions are available for adults and youth. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet directly with hiring representatives and may be considered for on-the-spot interviews.

 Participating employers include:

  • Advia Credit Union
  • Better World Builders
  • Bronson Hospital
  • Greenleaf Hospitality
  • Kalamazoo County Government
  • Kalamazoo Public Schools
  • Millennium Restaurant Group
  • Parker Hannifin, Aerospace Division
     

Community resource organizations will also be on-site to connect attendees with training, education, and employment support services. These include AARP, Access for All, the Kalamazoo Literacy Council, Kalamazoo RESA, the U.S. Army, and other workforce partners.

 Job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their updated resume, dress professionally, and arrive early to make the most of the event.
