Visiting scholar Morris Kleiner discusses licensing occupations on Marketplace radio

Upjohn Institute visiting scholar Morris Kleiner discussed occupational licensing on a Marketplace radio segment that aired on July 30. Kleiner, who consulted on a recent White House report on the labor market effects of occupational licensing, is quoted on the growing number of workers who require a license in order to practice their occupations.

Kleiner's forthcoming book, "Guild-Ridden Laobr Markets: The Curious Case of Occupational Licensing," is due Fall 2016 from Upjohn Press.
