Institute senior economist Timothy Bartik sat down recently with WMUK radio's Gordon Evans to discuss his latest research on economic development incentives given to firms by local and state governments. In his report Who Benefits from Economic Development Incentives?, Bartik finds that tax dollars doled out to firms often come at the expense of other government-funded services such as education.
