On March 24 on WMUK's WestSouthwest program, the Institute's Tim Bartik and Brad Hershbein discussed their latest research findings on the impact the Kalamazoo Promise has had on college attendance and the cost-benefits of universal college scholarships in general. The work, recently completeed with colleague Marta Lachowska, shows increased graduation rates and high rates of return based on career earnings for Promise scholarship recipients.
