Gabrielle Pepin promoted to staff economist

The Upjohn Institute is pleased to mark the promotion of Gabrielle Pepin to permanent staff economist. Pepin started the position in June.

Pepin is an applied microeconomist specializing in public and labor economics. Her work focuses on parental labor supply and tax and expenditure programs targeted at families with children, including child care subsidies and welfare.

Pepin completed a two-year post-doctoral position with the Upjohn Institute that started in June 2020. She received her Ph.D. in economics from Michigan State University and studied mathematical economics at the University of St. Thomas as an undergraduate.
