On October 16 in Washington, DC, Institute senior economist Chris O'Leary and visiting scholar Stephen Wandner participated in a roundtable organized by the National Acadey of Social Insurance (NASI). Titled "Rethinking Unemployment Insurance," the roundtable featured leading UI experts who discussed the challenges facing the current UI system and potential policies aimed at revamping UI financing and the overall system.
