Institute economist Brad Hershbein is quoted in a July 14 article on Bloomberg titled "What's Behind the Ballooning Upper Middle Class? Education." In it, Hershbein discusses his recent work with Timothy Bartik which shows that increases in earnings for college grads who grew up poor are less than for those who grew up wealthier.
