This playlist features all full segments and clips from Equitable Growth’s series Diversity in Economics. The purpose of this series is to highlight how the field of economics is changing—both the research and the researchers. We seek to uplift diverse voices to help broaden ideas about who is an economist, and we seek to uplift diverse research to help broaden ideas about what economists study—with the ultimate goal of increasing diversity in the economics profession on both accounts by spotlighting for academics and potential future economists a wider understanding of what is economics.
The Washington Center for Equitable Growth hosted our biennial grantee conference, Equitable Growth 2022: People and Research Advancing Economic Evidence, which brought together grantees and other stakeholders to showcase cutting-edge research on how economic inequality affects economic growth and stability.
