The Institute is hosting seminars by four candidates for its 2019 post-doctoral position. Included are:

  • January 24 – David Cho, Princeton University: “The Labor Market Effects of Demand Shocks: Firm-Level Evidence from the Recovery Act.“
  • February 1 – Siha Lee, University of Wisconsin, Madison: “Household Responses to Disability Shocks: Spousal Labor Supply, Caregiving, and Disability Insurance“
  • February 6 – Jessica Brown, Princeton University: “Does Public Pre-K Have Unintended Consequences on the Child Care Market for Infants and Toddlers?”
  • February 13 – Jaime Arellano-Bover, Stanford University: “Career Consequences of Firm Heterogeneity for Young Workers: First Job and Firm Size”
