Brad Hershbein moderates plenary at Investing in America's Workforce conference titled "Expanding the Capacity to Invest: Policy, Transparency, and Accountability"

 

Institute economist Brad Hershbein served as the moderator for a plenary session at the Investing in America's Workforce conference held October 4–6, 2017 in Austin, Texas.

The conference connected businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, financial institutions, academics, and philanthropic organizations to reframe workforce development efforts as investments, not just social services; attract new resources and leverage existing funding sources; and improve economic mobility and impact for workers.

Hersbein's session is titled "Expanding the Capacity to Invest: Policy, Transparency, and Accountability" and includes the following speakers:
