The Institute maintains an active program of publishing books on subjects of interest to policymakers, labor economists, and others who study labor market problems and programs to address them. Books may originate from our Grant Program
or from internal staff
. However, we also publish books written by scholars not connected with the Institute.
Therefore, the Institute seeks submissions of book-length works from outside authors on topics that fall within its areas of interest
. Please submit your manuscript or proposal (two copies, please) to "Publications Acquisitions" at the address listed below. It will be reviewed by Institute staff, and manuscripts will be referred for external, anonymous peer review if they appear to fit our interests. Authors will receive an assessment of their proposal or submission within two weeks.
